Tara has been in the mortgage industry for over 5
years. During the several yesrs she spent working for a wholesale
mortgage company she noticed that there were many loan officers more
concerned with their own paychecks than doing the right thing for their
customers. Since deciding to work directly with borrowers, 
she has
become even more involved in the mortgage industry. As part of that
she is proud to be designated as a Certified Mortgage
Planning Specialist.
Though she has access to a variety of mortgage products, she chooses to specialize in Reverse Mortgages. She understands how important it is to help seniors ensure they make the most of all of their financial resources so that they can have the lifestyle they've hoped and planned for.
Before coming the mortgage industry, Tara was a teacher for a small private school that served at-risk teens in residential treatment. Although she loved being in the classroom, she especially enjoyed being a part of the students' overall treatment. In addition, she served as a Spanish translator as needed for family therapy sessions.
Tara also enjoys all things culinary. As a graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute, she has a special passion for baking and pastry. After deciding there wasn't enough interaction with people in the kitchen, she left the profession, but she continues to teach occasional private cooking classes in her spare time.
